Billings, MT: In a video released this morning using social media outlets, Corey Stapleton announced his intent to run for the U.S. Senate in 2014.

“This campaign isn’t about me, it’s about Montana. I am running for the United States Senate because we should demand more from the people we send to Washington. With the very serious problems facing our nation, we can no longer afford to accept the inefficiencies and inadequacies of the status quo we see year after year. It’s time for real leadership and real solutions, and that’s what I will bring to the United States Senate. I will work tirelessly for Montanans, making it easier for you, your kids, and your grandkids.”

Corey and his wife Terry live in Billings, MT with their four children. Corey is a former Naval officer serving three overseas deployments on the USS John F. Kennedy and USS Hue City. Corey received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and a Masters in Political Science degree from Temple University. Corey served in the State Senate from 2000-2008 and served as the Senate Minority Leader. Corey owns and operates a small business helping families plan for their financial future.
